About Faith Sinclair

Faith Sinclair has been a full-time writer for her entire adult life (and a little before!)

She started as a ghostwriter and quickly decided to publish her own work independently.

She started with regular fantasy and sci-fi, and she first ventured into the romance realm four years ago.

After dedicating her time to fantasy, sci-fi, and paranormal love stories, she's decided it's time to come back to modern Earth and go contemporary in between her written adventures in other worlds.
She's also "worked" as an actress, voice actress, director, drag queen, twitch streamer, artist (drawing, painting, graphic design, and yarn), and a musician, so expect to see a lot of that in her books. In fact, she's still a musician as well as an independent author managing three active pen names, doing all her own graphics and covers, social media, and admin, and finding it weird that she's talking about herself in the third person.

She doesn't consider any of what she does "work," as she'd be doing it for free if she wasn't getting paid. As a result, she's never "worked".

What Else Does She Do?
When Faith is not not-working, she's spending time with her 18 (mostly non-human) children, doing drag and making music with her partner, gaming with her friends, helping friends with legal and medical trouble, and teaching her best friend Spanish, French, piano, guitar, and singing.

If you're wondering when she sleeps, she doesn't. She legitimately has short sleeper syndrome, so she needs fewer than 5 hours of sleep per night. And, when she does sleep, she lucid dreams, so it hardly counts as sleep at all.

No, seriously. There is no off-button. No burnout. It's freakish and terrifying to all around her, but she's been like this for almost two decades.

Approach wisely. She will make you wonder if you're supposed to be as much of a productivity robot as she is (you're probably not, and that's fine.)

Why Start Writing Contemporary Romance?

So, why start writing contemporary romance after four years of aliens, vampires, shifters, and witches kissing each other?

It's entirely her friend's fault.

Her football-obsessed friend who challenged her to read something contemporary for the first time in over 12 years.

As an author, Faith has many author friends, and they were quick to recommend their books. She read two: a dark romance and a sports romance.

She liked them so much that she decided to write some contemporary stuff herself, and as someone who hates sports and knows nothing about them, she found the challenge of learning about sports to write about them exciting.

If you like Faith's books, then you have her friends to thank. They're the reason she's doing contemporary and sports romance.

And here's a special shoutout to Megs for getting her mildly interested in football, and another to Rory (and also that one episode of Gilmore Girls, so another person called Rory) for getting her interested in hockey.

What Are Faith's Other Pen Names?
Faith has chosen to keep all of her pen names completely separate. She's moving away from her fantasy/sci-fi/paranormal one, and her non-romantic fantasy and sci-fi pen name is one she keeps entirely separate from romance for personal reasons.

She will also not be sharing any of her musical or artistic endeavors with any of her readers on any of her pen names. She prefers to keep every separate thing she does, well, separate and impossible to connect back to the same person.

It's more fun for her that way.
